We have been involved with Liste – Art Fair Basel since the very beginning, which has grown to become one of the world’s most prestigious art fairs for emerging artists and dealers. It takes place alongside Art Basel in June each year.

We are engaged in supporting the Kunsthalle Basel. Dynamic, experimental, rigorous, open-minded, and accessible, Kunsthalle Basel is a place for audacious art and exhibitions by emerging artists. Established in 1872 by the Basler Kunstverein (Basel Art Association), Kunsthalle Basel is world renowned for engaging with pioneering practices in contemporary art. François Gutzwiller is Treasurer of the commission of the association of Kunstverein Basel.

The Bank supported the renovation of the Stadtcasino Basel, through its non-profit association. The Stadtcasino Basel houses the principal concert hall of Basel and ranks within the ten best concert halls worldwide. Built in 1786, it was extensively renovated and extended between 2016 and 2020 by the renowned architects and Pritzker Prize winners Herzog & de Meuron. One of our partners, Christoph Gloor is Chairman of the Casino-Kommission.
